The paisa cat
I loved this cat attitude, and is precisely this character the reason why this blog exists. I was with my father visiting my cousins in Pueblito Paisa in Medellin, the city my cousins are from. We were knowing the place at night and I saw this little animal. He was standing at this right position with the eyes deeply pointed to a place maybe humans can't reach. He was not on a hidden place but in the middle of the street, between all the pedestrians. It was estrange because, as I couldn't have done with any other unknown cat, I was very close to him and he never moved a finger, like I wouldn't had been there.
The soccer match cat
I stole this piece of cat a sunny day while I was waiting for somebody. As you can see, the day was so bright and hot, that this tiny cat was hidden by the shadow of that friendly shrub. My uncle invite me to watch a soccer match in our neighborhood, to be true it isn't something I'm interesting in, but he told me that there I was going to met a friend of him who could help me with some university work I had. He was Adolfo Jacobombaire, a member of the Huitoto community. That afternoon while we were watching the match, he told me both beautiful and sadness things about the situation on El Amazonas.
He came from "La Chorrera" in search of study in Bogotá for his little kids, something that is not that common due to the economical, social and geographic conditions of his village. For the ones who doesn't know too much about it, by 1912 the Peruvian Amazon Company more known in my country as "La Casa Arana" which its head office was on La Chorrera and which its business was the rubber tree exploitation, was reported by Roger Casement because of the inhuman treatment they gave to the native community in Putumayo. The Arana's not only treated them as slaves, but also they torture them in such a terrible way, that this place was called "The devil's paradise".
Nowadays, the slavery stopped in La Chorrera but they still having the same old problem, the communication with the rest of the country is really difficult and in consequence, it's a forgotten part of Colombia as well as many others little towns. This sad situation make this places extremely vulnerable so the awe among people is a very common feeling.
Ups! I forgot it. Sorry for the ones who where waiting for the match...what can I say...I don't know who the hell was paying at the soccer match therefore, I have no idea who won. Fortunately it didn't rain so I assume they had a great time as well as I.
The lonely violet cat
There's no much to say about this one. I was just walking around while he was just waiting for something to happen in the garden of his humans pets; or maybe he was just imaging flowers made of mice, yeah, that's what the lonely violet cat must had been doing in the garden.
